Size guide

Size guide

Jewellery fit is personal. This guide is here to help you choose a comfortable size for rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Because each Luckora design may sit slightly differently, please also check the measurements listed on the product page before ordering.

How to measure

Use a soft measuring tape where possible. If you do not have one, wrap a strip of paper or string around the area you want to measure, mark where it meets, then lay it flat against a ruler.

Measure at the time of day you are most likely to wear the piece. Fingers and wrists can change slightly with temperature, activity, and time of day.

Ring size guide

In New Zealand and Australia, ring sizes are often shown in the UK/AU/NZ letter system. Some online jewellery stores also use US numerical sizes, so the table below includes both. Conversions are approximate; millimetre measurements are the most useful way to compare fit.

If you already own a ring that fits well, measure the inside diameter across the centre of the ring. If you are measuring your finger, wrap paper or string around the base of your finger, then measure the length in millimetres.

AU/NZ/UK size US size Inside diameter Finger circumference
J 1/2 5 15.6 mm 49.0 mm
M 6 16.5 mm 51.9 mm
O 7 17.3 mm 54.4 mm
Q 8 18.2 mm 57.0 mm
R 1/2 9 19.0 mm 59.5 mm

If you are between sizes, we usually suggest choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit, especially for wider bands.

Necklace length guide

Necklace length changes with height, neckline, body shape, and how you like to layer pieces. The guide below is a general reference.

Luckora necklace length guide shown on a real Luckora model
Length Approx. fit Best for
35-40 cm Choker / high neckline Close-to-neck styling and layering
40-45 cm Short necklace Everyday pendants and pearl necklaces
45-50 cm Classic mid length Easy daily wear and open necklines
50-60 cm Longer line Layering or a more relaxed drop

For adjustable chains, the product page will usually show the shortest and longest wearable length.

Bracelet and bangle guide

Measure around your wrist where you would naturally wear a bracelet. For a close fit, add around 1 cm. For a more relaxed fit, add around 1.5 to 2 cm.

Wrist measurement Suggested bracelet fit Feel
14-15 cm 15-16.5 cm Petite / close fit
15-16.5 cm 16.5-18 cm Standard fit
16.5-18 cm 18-20 cm Relaxed fit

Bangles need to pass over the widest part of your hand, so the fit may feel different from a chain bracelet. Always check the product page for inner diameter or adjustable length.

Earring size guide

Earrings are usually measured by drop length, hoop diameter, or stud size. A small difference in millimetres can change the look, especially on hoops and pearl earrings.

Luckora earring size guide shown on a real Luckora model
Measurement What it means
Stud size The width or diameter of the front detail
Hoop diameter The outside or inner circle size, depending on product wording
Drop length The length from the top of the earring to the lowest point

If you prefer a subtle everyday look, choose smaller studs, huggies, or short drops. If you like more movement or statement styling, look for longer drops or larger hoops.

Choosing a gift

If you are buying jewellery as a gift and are unsure of size, adjustable necklaces, adjustable bracelets, studs, huggies, and classic pearl pieces are often easier choices.

For rings, sizing can be more personal. If you are unsure, consider choosing a piece where the size is already known, or contact us before ordering.
