Luckora pieces are selected for quiet shine, everyday wear, and clear material truth. Our jewellery may use natural pearls, mother-of-pearl, sterling silver, gold-filled finishes, gold plating, and other plated metal components. Each product page names the materials used in that specific piece.

Natural pearls

Pearls are loved for their soft lustre rather than a perfectly uniform surface. Because they are natural materials, each pearl may vary slightly in shape, size, tone, and surface texture. These small differences are part of their beauty, not a flaw.

We choose pearl pieces for an easy, luminous finish that can move from daily dressing to gifting and special occasions.

Mother-of-pearl

Mother-of-pearl is the iridescent inner layer of shell. It has a gentle glow that shifts with light, giving each piece a subtle depth and natural variation.

It is light, refined, and especially suited to pieces that need softness without feeling overly delicate or formal.

Earring posts

All Luckora earring posts are made with 925 sterling silver or gold-plated 925 sterling silver. This applies to the part that goes through the ear.

Other parts of an earring, such as decorative fronts, drops, settings, charms, or connecting components, may use different metal bases depending on the design. Please check the product page for the exact material details.

Sterling silver

Sterling silver is a precious metal alloy commonly made with 92.5% silver, blended for strength so it can be worn as jewellery. It offers a clean, bright tone and is a considered choice for everyday pieces.

Some Luckora designs use sterling silver as the main metal. Others may use sterling silver for specific parts only, such as earring posts or selected details.

14K gold-filled and 18K gold plated finishes

Our gold-tone jewellery is generally made with either 14K gold-filled finishes or 18K gold plated finishes, depending on the piece.

Gold-filled jewellery has a layer of gold bonded to a base metal, while gold plated jewellery has a fine layer of gold over another metal surface. Both can offer a warm gold look, but they are not solid gold.

For non-post metal parts, the base may vary by design and can include gold-plated copper or brass-based components, or gold-plated sterling silver. The exact material should be read from the product page for each item.

Plated metal components

Some jewellery designs need different metal components for shape, strength, movement, or finish. These parts may be plated over copper, brass-based metal, or sterling silver, depending on the design.

Plated finishes can naturally soften over time with wear. Water, perfume, lotion, sunscreen, sweat, cleaning products, and friction can all affect how long a finish stays bright.

Stone and shell details

Some designs may include shell, pearl, or small sparkling accents. Where a piece includes additional materials, we name them on the product page so you can understand what you are wearing before you buy.

How to read our product pages

We aim to describe materials clearly and simply. A product may have one material for the earring post and another for the decorative part, setting, chain, charm, or finish.

Care note

Natural and plated materials last longer with gentle care. Put jewellery on after perfume, sunscreen, lotion, and hair products, remove it before showering, swimming, sleeping, or exercising, and wipe it softly before storing.
